Jennifer Pyron made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2011. She is the Managing Editor and a writer for OperaWire since 2017. She is also a member of the Music Critics Association of North America (MCANA) and has published more than 200 reviews over the past nine years, specializing in vocal performance.
Since becoming OperaWire’s first Managing Editor and a writer during its conception in 2017, she has demonstrated a wide range of growth and development of media networks focused on opera. She performs in NYC and Europe featuring classical works and her own compositions. Since 2017 she has composed and produced electronic works that utilize a Korg MS2000 virtual analog synthesizer, granular synthesis audio electronics, and her own voice. She also designs visuals and collaborates with various artists to perform audiovisual works live in NYC and Europe. In June 2026, she will debut her first solo exhibition, “Light Channel,” in Sofia, Bulgaria at the Arosita Gallery, featuring photography, experimental film and live performance.
