Jennifer Pyron (she/her) is Managing Editor & Writer for OperaWire since 2017. Her work covers a wide range of opera performances and festivals in NYC and Europe, including Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro La Fenice, Innsbruck Early Music Festival (Austria), Met Live Arts, Whitney Museum, Guggenheim Museum’s Works & Process Series, Lincoln Center Theater, Roulette Intermedium, PROTOTYPE Festival, Beth Morrison Productions, National Sawdust, Japan Society, Orange Mountain Music (Philip Glass), Asia Society, Glyndebourne Opera Festival (U.K.), Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, The Juilliard School, Columbia University, La Mama, Santa Fe Opera Festival, Brooklyn Art Song Society, Death of Classical (NYC) Green-Wood Cemetery’s Catacombs, and the United Nations.

She is based in Brooklyn, NY and enjoys performing live with voice and electronics for mixed media shows featuring new works and technology. She is also working on her first book, “Where the Red Clay Goes.”
